|Check out what James, Rose, Durant, Bryant, Harden, and Curry are driving
Basketball players in the National Basketball Association earn the biggest salaries, which means that they can afford the best and cool cars in the world. According to the data estimated by Forbes, an average NBA player received $ 4.9 million for the 2013–14 season.
Let’s take a look at some of the biggest NBA superstars and the cars they own and love. Just seeing them drive their dream cars will no doubt make you wish that you are a star player too.
LeBron James – Rolls Royce Phantom
Four-time NBA MVP LeBron James, who led the Miami Heat to NBA titles in 2012 and 2013, and won a third championship with Cleveland in 2016, drives a Rolls Royce Phantom.
Listed as the highest-paid NBA player in 2016, LeBron first attracted people’s attention as the top high school basketball player in the country. With power and athleticism, as well as court vision and leadership, James became one (if not the top) dominant players in the NBA today. He recently became the 10th player – and youngest ever – to surpass 27,000 career points.
Derrick Rose – Bentley Mulsanne
New York Knicks’ star Derrick Rose is said to be a huge fan of British craftsmanship, with his Bentley Mulsanne being one of his “pride and joy”.
A Chicago native, Rose was drafted in 2008 by the Bulls and was named the NBA’s league MVP in 2011. In June, he was traded to New York after devoting his first nine seasons in Chicago.
Stephen Curry – Porsche GT3 RS / Panamera Turbo S
Warriors’ star Wardell Stephen Curry II, popularly known as “Stephen” or “Steph” is acclaimed for his stellar shooting skills and accuracy. Just recently, he added another impressive achievement with most 3-pointers in one NBA game, where he sank 13 to make another NBA mark.
Also an avid golfer, Curry is the first person to be named Most Valuable Player by unanimous vote in NBA history and one of only 11 players to win the MVP award for two consecutive years. He led the Warriors win the NBA championship in 2015, with a league-record 73 wins the following season. Curry seems to enjoy driving his Porsche’s: the Porsche GT3 RS and Panamera Turbo S.
James Harden – Chevrolet Camaro Convertible
Hailed as one of the most remarkable all-around players in the NBA history, Houston Rockets’ star James Harden has triumphed gold medals in the 2012 Summer Olympics, along with the 2014 FIBA World Cup with the U.S. National Basketball Team.
A native of Los Angeles, the 27-year-old star drives a Chevrolet Camaro Convertible. Currently, Harden is being favored by many NBA fans as their preseason MVP candidate. Though still a long way to go, Harden is currently averaging 31.4 points per game.
Kevin Durant – Chevrolet Camaro
Top-scoring forward Kevin Durant, who played nine seasons for Oklahoma City Thunder and now plays with the Golden State Warriors, became the youngest player in NBA history to join the 50–40–90 Club. In fact, his 2013 NBA campaign was hailed “one of the greatest shooting seasons in league history”.
A five-time NBA all-star and was hailed the NBA’s MVP for the 2013–14 season, Durant who has also won two Olympic gold medals, enjoys driving a Chevrolet Camaro.
Kobe Bryant – Cadillac Escalade
Kobe Bryant, who retired at the 2015–2016 season, has won five NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers while emerging himself as one of the game’s greatest scorers. Bryant still holds the record for the most seasons playing with one franchise, where he played his entire 20-year career.
He owns a Cadillac Escalade. In December 2014, the Lakers legend moved into third place on the NBA all-time scoring list surpassing Michael Jordan with 33,643 points.
