The ‘See You Again’ Singer Shares Why He Loves Traveling and Why SUV is His Dream Car
Atlantic recording artist Charlie Puth has had worldwide success with his single “See You Again“. Since the song hit the top spot in several countries including the UK, Germany, Norway, Italy, Mexico, Switzerland, New Zealand and Australia, Puth has become one of pop’s most sought-after co-writers and producers for an array of A-list pop and urban artists. He’s supported “All About That Bass” singer Meghan Trainor’s “The MTrain Tour” and even headlined his own concert shows.
Despite just beginning a hectic world-tour schedule, the 23-year-old musician has all the positive vibes of someone who’s riding the biggest break of his life, and seemed far from tired when VroomVroomVroom content writer Jayson Paor, also the owner of MNL Online, joined him to talk about success, his fans, the non-stop traveling and touring, and his dream car.
New Jersey-born and bred, the level-headed musician recently wrapped up his first Asian tour to promote his upcoming debut album Nine Track Mind, which is scheduled to be released on January 29, 2016.
He flew, traveled and met his legion of fans in Japan and South Korea. He also visited the Philippines for the first time and wowed his Manila audience with a very special showcase.
Sweet Smell of Success
Before his show, select members of the press were able to get to know more about Charlie during his media conference where the multi-talented vocalist had a message for his fans.
He remarked, “You’ve all stuck with me from the very beginning and you all knew me for quite some time before ‘See You Again,’ before ‘Ellen’ even, and I just appreciate all the love that I get from you guys. You are the reason why all this is happening, why I get to travel the world.”
Puth continued, “While it’s my success, it’s really, really all of our success because it’s like a joint team effort so I thank you so much for that!”
A self-confessed big fan of Marvin Gaye while growing up, the “One Call Away” talented singer also shared that he loves cars, SUV in particular.
