Sunshine Butterflies Need You to Win Needed Funding

VroomVroomVroom team members have been supporters of Sunshine Butterflies for several years, and we’d like to ask for your Christmas help for the Noosa community (90 minutes north of Brisbane).

Who are the Sunshine Butterflies?

Sunshine Butterflies is a local Queensland charity that supports children, young adults and their families living with disability.  Current programs include swimming clubs, cooking, teaching the creative arts, music, and working with wood.  They have recently achieved step one of a “dream come true!”  Sunshine Butterflies have purchased Our Backyard – where the team will create a working and learning farm.  Leanne Walsh, founder and director of Sunshine Butterflies, says this is where they’ll grow programs and facilities for Sunshine Butterflies and its members.  Future plans also include a respite centre – it will provide overnight assistance for families living with disability.

Why help?

With 7 days to go, Sunshine Butterflies leads a competition to win a $50 000 donation from Dick Smith Foods!  The funds are desperately needed to build Our Backyard into the working farm and respite centre for families.

How to help?

Take a photo – like our VVV team and the Kids of Sunshine Butterflies have.  The photo must include a Dick Smith Foods product (examples below) – and then send it to the team at admin@sunshinebutterflies.com.au

Keep  a Dick Smith product by the Christmas dinner table – if 10 or more people are in the photo, Sunshine Butterflies will get double the points earnt!  Help keep Sunshine Butterflies at the top of the list to be granted a gift of $50k this Christmas!
