Meet Our Team: Hieu Vu – Director of Product and Development

Meet the Head of Product & Development at VroomVroomVroom. Hieu Vu has been a part of the team for almost two years. He spent 13 years at QUT after starting out at the IT Helpdesk, before eventually landing at VroomVroomVroom. He says the best part about working with the Vroom team is the people. Everyone takes responsibility for their own tasks.

What is your favourite road trip destination?

Fraser Island has always been a favourite destination, it’s a great drive from Brisbane to Rainbow beach and a short hop on the ferry to Fraser Island where the real fun is.

Best road trip song?

Tay Tay!

Ideal car to drive?

Maserati Levante.

What is your best car rental tip?

Make sure you refill before returning the car, it will save your a lot of money.

City or country driving?

I don’t believe you can really drive in the city, definitely country.

Suitcase or backpack?

Backpack.

Mountains or beach?

Sun, surf and sand.

Summer or winter?

Definitely enjoy summer as a icy cold beer taste better.

Morning or evening?

I consider myself an evening person.

Coffeeeeeee!

Book or movie?

Movie – I don’t have to think, just sit back and enjoy.

Comedy or horror?

Comedy movies I guess.

Cats or dogs?

Dogs.

Sweet or salty?

I can not split the two, so both. However, my wife thinks sweet.
