According to The Verge, Apple announced that at least 1 billion devices – from iPhone and iPad to Apple Watch and Mac are in regular use and communicating with the App Store. In a separate report from Statista, mobile devices accounted for nearly half of all organic search engine visits in the United States in late 2016.  

Smartphone users in the U.S. spent most of their time on search, portals and social apps. There is a study that the number of mobile search users is expected to almost double between 2014 and 2019. So just imagine how many people VroomVroomVroom will be helping to book a car rental with our new App.

The website also reported that users’ ability to quickly obtain relevant results based on their location is one of the most attractive features of mobile search. For instance, just over 70 percent of mobile phone owners in the U.S. have used location-based services. With that in mind, the VroomVroomVroom App’s booking engine has been upgraded to make searching for a rental car easier. It features a geolocation search that allows you to find the closest depot. You can enter a specific place (like a landmark or the hotel you are staying in) or turn on your device’s GPS to track your current location.
