VroomVroomVroom Workshop 2016

VroomVroomVroom team

Vroom Group recently held their second workshop for 2016 in Kedron Wavell, Brisbane. This was the first time that all managers and team leaders from different parts of the world gathered in one venue to make this corporate event a huge success.

VVV CEO Mike Boyd

The Manila (Philippines) team and .Net Team Leader Praveen Matoria of India travelled halfway across the globe to attend the 2-day workshop that was headed by VroomVroomVroom CEO Mike Boyd together with Director of Operations Theresa Wagner.

This was the first time that the Manila-based manager and team leaders have flown to Brisbane to participate in the workshop; and they were all pumped up to share their knowledge and experiences to their colleagues. This event gave them an opportunity to learn more about the company and discover what each department can offer to achieve the company’s goals.

Apart from the insightful team presentations, Mike Boyd also shared a video from renowned leadership speaker Robin Sharma, who shared some tips on how to stay ‘ultra’ inspired. Watching that video was a real eye-opener to many participants. It made them appreciate more of their surroundings including their loved ones and the beautiful sunset. VroomVroomVroom’s CEO also shared some tips and habits that could help a person become the best of what he/she can be.

VVV team playing Finska

The 2-day workshop wasn’t all about the business as Vroomsters took time to have a little bit of fun outside. They had a hula hoop challenge and played games such as Finska (log tossing) and Bocce (ball sport). They also got a chance to get to know each other better during lunch and tea time. It was a great experience for them to finally talk to each other face to face after years of meeting up on Google Hangouts and Skype.

The Vroom Group workshop was definitely a big success! It brought the Vroomsters from different parts of the world closer (even if they are miles apart). Everyone went home with some great memories and knowledge to share to their family, friends and team mates. Next year will probably be bigger and better – from a group of 23, the participants may probably double up as the company keeps on progressing and expanding.
