We interviewed JustLizards about exceeding customer expectations. Here’s the extract.

What’s your story??

We have been officially operating for 6 months however have been in business from home 3 years prior. We started collecting reptiles 8 years ago starting with 2 blue tongues, we have now over 150 reptiles at the moment, including snakes, dragons and lizards. Our passion is to be successful in the breeding of the reptiles, which we have been so far, and now on to the larger lizards to breed very exciting. My partner Matt loves making his reptile enclosures as he takes a lot of pride in his work. We also love giving out the correct information on the reptiles and do extensive research on them.

What would you like to do in the future for your business?

We are moving towards offering Corporate Enclosures for corporate offices.  We plan to design, build and install the enclosures into any corporate office.  We will then offer a service where once a week

How do you exceed the expectations of your customers?

Our service is personal to each customers needs.  We are a custom reptiles and enclosure company because we want each person to get their new pet into a safe, healthy and comfortable enclosure that suits them.  We noticed pet stores selling these precious reptiles to people who weren’t educated and unfortunately, mostly it wouldn’t end well for the animal and obviously the customer would be upset too.  We offer assistance in resourcing information for your pet, we ensure that your enclosure, food, light, heating is all included in the service

Evolution of a Website

VroomVroomVroom has evolved over the last 7 years. Here’s 3 screenshots I found on the wayback machine. It has obviously evolved, however the simple concept has stayed similar. The most important thing always being front and center. The first design experienced an increase in conversion when comparison technology was introduced with a search form as seen in the 2nd design. Interestingly, the 3rd design resulted in no detectable increase over the 2nd.

TRAVELtech Website of the Year 2011

Proudest day

David and I thought we were there to learn and mingle. Little did we know, we’d be walking home with the award for the Best Travel Website of the Year, trumping the big guns of the industry such as Wotif, WebJet, and VirginBlue. We felt very proud and so did Nana when she found us in the local paper.

Sponsored by Amadeus, the competition was judged by 3 independent industry leaders.

Special thanks to Martin Kelly for organising yet another insightful TRAVELtech event. Martin is a thought leader in the online travel industry and information on his events can be found at http://www.traveltrends.biz/

Amadeus present to VroomVroomVroom

Local Paper Mention. Nana was proud to see that.
